CRM Key Facts
Here we provide answers to some of the key questions we are often asked about our CRM Software.
Amphis Customer
Sharing Data Between Multiple Users
We're often asked how to share customer data and documents between 2 or more users and whether the data and documents can be shared online.
Amphis Customer is designed to work on an office network and you can easily share customer data and documents between multiple users on a Local Area Network (LAN) by moving the database, documents and templates to a shared folder that the client PCs can access.
Amphis Customer is installed on each client PC and connects to the database on the shared folder as shown below. We have more information on this here Share Customer Data and Documents Between Multiple Users
Can Amphis Customer be Hosted Online ?
Amphis Customer isn't web software. It can't be hosted online but we are developing Amphis Web Customer to provide read/write access to some of the data in the database.
Amphis Web Customer
We are developing Amphis Web Customer which is designed to be hosted online on a Windows Web Server and is designed to provide read/write access to more of the data in the Amphis Customer database.
iPad and Smartphone Access to CRM
To access the customer data from an iPad or Smartphone you can remotely connect to an office PC that is running Amphis Customer. See iPad access to CRM
Mac Access to CRM
We're often asked if Amphis Customer will run on a Mac. Amphis Customer runs on Windows but it is possible to run Amphis Customer on a Mac (some of our clients do exactly this) if you use Parallels software to also run Windows on your Mac.
When will Amphis Web Customer be available ?
As soon as we have some idea of a release date for Amphis Web Customer we'll announce it on our home page and in our newsletters.
