CRM Software Solution

Sometimes when clients have manually copied files from one PC to another, there can be a mismatch between the EXE file and the DLL file meaning that the DLL file is older than the EXE file. This can happen if clients manually set up a new PC instead of using the supplied Setup package or the Upgrade tool.

When there is a mismatch, clients may see this "Method not found SALESPERSONRow.IsPersonTypeNull" error.

Also in the Log Files you may see the error "Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression".

Simple CRM Solution

The solution is to simply download the latest DLL file from the Amphis Software web site.

Download DLL File as Zip File

Click Save As and save the zip file to your desktop.

Then open the zip file (just double-click on it) and click Extract All Files.

Browse to the folder to save it as C:\Program Files (x86)\Amphis Software\Amphis Customer v3.0

(Note: If you don't have a folder called C:\Program Files (x86)\Amphis Software\Amphis Customer v3.0 then you must have a 32-bit PC so use C:\Program Files\Amphis Software\Amphis Customer v3.0 instead).

Click Extract.

It should ask if you want to overwrite the existing file. Click Copy and Replace.

Then restart Amphis Customer and you should be up and running again.
