Scan documents from customers and store in customer history
Using Microsoft Paint or other software you can scan in customer documents eg letters and save them to your hard disk.
Then you can simply create a Customer History entry for the customer eg Letter From Customer and drag and drop the file into the attachment field.
To help you search for the letter later, you can add some useful tags in the Description which you can search on later by typing them into the History field in the Search form.
Now the scanned in customer letter is associated with the customer record and you can easily search for it.
Having found the customer record you can view the customer history and click View Attached File to view the scanned in document.
So much quicker than searching through filing cabinets...
