CRM Software - Microsoft Windows or Microsoft .Net Framework Issue - NN Days of Evaluation Left

If you try to run Amphis Customer and it looks like this saying "There are NN days of this evaluation left" and there is a blank window where the text should be, then there is most likely an issue with Microsoft Windows or the Microsoft .Net Framework.

Microsoft Dot Net Framework Problem

IT Support Needed

You may need to contact your IT Support to fix the issue.

Application Logs

There may be useful information logged in the Amphis Customer event logs. On Windows XP, go to the folder

   C:\documents and settings\<your username>\Application Data\Amphis Customer v3.0

On Windows Vista or Windows 7, go to the folder

   C:\users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Amphis Customer v3.0

If you can't see that folder you can go to Control Panel->Folder Options and on the View tab click Show Hidden Files and Folders and untick Hide extensions for known file types. Look for files in that folder called Monday_log.txt Tuesday_log.txt etc. There could be 7 files in total, one for each day of the week.

Re-install the Microsoft .Net Framework

If you go to Control Panel->Programs->Uninstall a Program and you see the Microsoft .Net Framework listed, you may be able to uninstall and re-install the Microsoft .Net Framework to fix the issue but we recommend that you seek help from an IT Professional in order to try this and you make backups of your files before you try this.

Install Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5

Sometimes this can be an issue with Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 and some clients have successfully fixed the issue by simply installing the more recent version of the Microsoft .Net Framework from Microsoft which is Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5

Windows Event Log

If you look in the Windows Event Log that may help. You can get to the Event Log from Control Panel->System and Security->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer. Under Windows Logs there may be something useful logged under Application or System.
