Built-in History Entries
Amphis Customer is supplied with a number of History Entry Types built-in such as Appointment, Notes, Expense, Site Visit and Diagram. To create one of the built-in History Types in the Customer History for a Customer you just edit a Customer Record, go to the Customer History tab, select the History Entry Type and click Create History Entry.
You can enter a description (which is searchable from the main Search screen if you enter a search string into the History search field). You can also specify the date and time, attach a file and link the History Entry to a Job.
The History Entry is then added to the Customer History for that Customer.
Custom History Entries
You can also create your own Custom History Entry types to record information specific to your business. For example if you wanted to store something called Callout, then you can simply create a new History Entry Type called Callout.
From Tools->Maintain Templates you just click Create New History Entry Type and enter a name for the new type and click OK.
Then on the Customer History tab the new History Entry Type will appear under the Create History button.
