CRM Key Facts
Here we provide answers to some of the key questions we are often asked about our CRM Software.
Sharing Data Between Multiple Users
We're often asked how to share customer data and documents between 2 or more users and whether the data and documents can be shared online.
Amphis Customer is designed to work on an office network and you can easily share customer data and documents between multiple users on a Local Area Network (LAN) by moving the database, documents and templates to a shared folder that the client PCs can access.
Amphis Customer is installed on each client PC and connects to the database on the shared folder as shown below. We have more information on this here Share Customer Data and Documents Between Multiple Users
Can Amphis Customer be Hosted Online ?
Amphis Customer isn't web software. It can't be hosted online but we have developed Amphis Web Demo (see below) which can be used to provide web and mobile access (read only) to some of the data in the Amphis Customer database and we are developing Amphis Web Customer to provide read/write access to more of the data in the database.
Amphis Web Demo
We have developed Amphis Web Demo which is a free web application designed to be hosted online on a Windows Web Server and which provides read-only web and mobile access to some of the data in the Amphis Customer database (if you upgrade the database for free to SQL Server).
Amphis Web Customer
We are developing Amphis Web Customer which is designed to be hosted online on a Windows Web Server and is designed to provide read/write access to more of the data in the Amphis Customer database.
iPad and Smartphone Access to CRM
Mac Access to CRM
We're often asked if Amphis Customer will run on a Mac. Amphis Customer runs on Windows but it is possible to run Amphis Customer on a Mac (some of our clients do exactly this) if you use Parallels software to also run Windows on your Mac. You can also use Amphis Web Demo to provide web access from a browser on a Mac.

When will Amphis Web Customer be available ?
As soon as we have some idea of a release date for Amphis Web Customer we'll announce it on our home page and in our newsletters. In the mean time you can use Amphis Web Demo for web and mobile read-only access to customer data.
Will Amphis Web Customer run on Linux ?
No, Amphis Web Customer will only run on a Windows Web Server. The clients will be any browsers on any device including iPad, iPhone, Android devices, Windows Phone and Windows tablets etc.
Will there be iPad, iPhone and Android apps we can download ?
We are developing Amphis Web Customer to provide web and mobile access from any device that runs a browser. Initially the software will be accessed using browsers on these devices rather than using downloadable apps. Using CSS Media Queries we can make the display match the device it is displayed on so we don't need to develop an app for each device.
