Screen DPI Font Size

The font size (DPI) affects how Amphis Customer pages fit on your screen. Our software is designed to work at the default 96 DPI (Dots per inch) also known as 100% or Smaller.

Some PCs are now set to a higher DPI of Medium 125% (120 DPI) when they are sold. This will affect how text and buttons appear on your screen. On a PC set to Medium 125% (120 DPI), Amphis Customer buttons and text will not fit on forms correctly.

Fix Font Size (DPI) by changing it back to the Default Setting

To fix this, simply change the DPI back to the default of Smaller 100% (96 DPI). To do this, go to the Start Menu, click on Control Panel.

On Windows 7, click Appearance and Personalization. Click Display. Select Smaller - 100% (default). Click Apply.

Adjust DPI

On Windows Vista, go to the Start Menu, click on Control Panel. Click Personalization. Click Adust font size (DPI) on the Personalization Screen. Change the value to Default scale (96 DPI) and click Apply.

Adjust Font Size

Our software supports the default setting of 96 DPI (called 100% or Smaller on Windows 7).

Screen DPI Scaling

If your resolution is set to 1024x768 or higher and the DPI is set to 96 (100%), the pages and text should fit correctly on your screen. If you still have problems, please contact support@amphis-software.com.
