Customer Notes - Contact Notes
You can easily store notes for a customer or contact. On the Main Details tab of the Create/Edit Customer page, you can see any existing notes for a customer in the Notes view at the bottom along with the date/time they were created.
Adding Customer Notes
If you click the Notes button you can see the Notes in a larger view and you can also create new Notes by typing in some text and clicking Add Notes. The date/time is automatically added. You can also click Print Notes to print all the notes for a customer.
Edit or Delete Customer Notes
It is also possible to edit or delete customer notes on the Customer History tab. By default, Notes aren't displayed on the Customer History tab so you first need to change the dropdown at the bottom left to Show All instead of Show All (except Notes).
Then you will see the Notes as separate customer history entries of type Notes. You can then select one and click View/Edit History Entry to edit it or you can click Delete History Entry to delete it.
Search for Customer Notes
Because a Customer Note is a type of customer history entry you can also search for customer notes on the main search page. For example if you enter "property" into the history search field and click Search, this will find any customer records that have the word "property" in their customer notes.
